Shailendra Mishra, who is known today as Adhyatma Mitra, was born in Kashi on the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha in 1992. He grew up in a deeply spiritual environment, but during his early years, he considered himself a complete atheist. From childhood, he actively participated in theatre, singing competitions, and various cultural activities, receiving numerous awards and recognitions. After completing his Mechanical Engineering, he started his professional career. Although he was successful in his job, he constantly felt an inner emptiness and lack of satisfaction. Alongside his career, he continued to pursue his passion for the arts and even participated in the Mr. North India competition in 2016. Despite achieving success in both his professional and artistic life, he still could not find true peace. A turning point came when he visited the cremation grounds. After everyone had left, he remained there silently for nearly six hours, observing the burning funeral pyres. During those moments of deep contemplation, he experienced an inner peace that he had been searching for throughout his life. That profound experience awakened a strong wave of spirituality within him. It marked the beginning of his spiritual journey to discover the ultimate truth of life. Since then, he has dedicated himself to self-realization, meditation, and spiritual wisdom. Today, through his teachings, writings, and public interactions, he inspires countless people to live a more peaceful, meaningful, and spiritually awakened life.
